CAMP LEAKEY

This Camp is in wild life preservation of Tanjung Puting National Park which is about 305.000 hectares large. Here the captive orang utan rehabilitated after being kept in houses or in gardens by the people. The camp is developed for research of the orang utan, and a clinic for rehabilitation to bring theme back into the forest after they became tame. For wild-life lovers, this camp is an ideal place to visit and enjoy where fresh air and bush & wild life is available and touchable.
