JAVA BALI SCENIC OVERLAND
DAY 1 : ARRIVAL JAKARTA – HOTEL Upon arrival in Jakarta, meeting & greeting service by our guide and then direct transfer to hotel for overnight. ( hotel booking own arrangement ) The rest of day is free.
DAY 2 : JAKARTA FULL DAY CITY SIGHTSEEING Breakfast at hotel. Start your Jakarta city sightseeing by visiting National Museum (open daily except Monday) to see valuable collections of antiquities and ethnographic artifacts. Drive around the Medan Merdeka Square to see the National Monument or Monas, the Istiqlal Mosque, the biggest mosque in Southeast Asia , the Catholic Cathedral and President Palace. Continue the drive thru China Town / Glodok to Old Batavia City , a Dutch town being built and laid out according to Dutch model. Afterward visit to the old harbour Sunda Kelapa for seeing the traditional wooden schooners, with a mile-long wharf in use since 1817. Depart to Beautiful Indonesia in Miniature Park well know as Taman Mini Indonesia Indah , a 160 hectare recreation park, which is designed to give visitors a general overview of Indonesian culture and traditions. The all provinces of Indonesia are represented by models of their most representative architectural styles. Visiting Minangkabau, Kalimantan and Toraja houses to see their beautiful architecture.
DAY 3 : JAKARTA – BOGOR
Breakfast at hotel, leaving for Bogor and visit Bogor’s botanical Garden. Browse around the botanical garden to see the variety of tropical plants from around the world including a numerous gigantic tree, several of palms, orchids, etc. Check in hotel for overnight.
DAY 4 : BOGOR – BANDUNG
Breakfast at hotel, depart for Bandung through breathtaking winding road of Puncak with its beautiful view of tea plantation. Visit tea factory , then continue to Bandung , check in hotel for overnight.
DAY 5 : BANDUNG VOLCANO TOUR
Breakfast at hotel, then proceed to Mt. Tangkuban Prahu. Enjoy the scenic drive trough beautiful scenery of mountain area via Lembang a small town resort surrounded by vegetable and fruit garden. Mt. Tangkuban Prahu is well known for its crater, which still active but safe to visit. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of its crater and surroundings. Continue to Sari Ater ,a resort located on the mountain slope of Tangkuban Perahu, providing Spa , health center, hot spring water pool where you can soak in the mineral rich water, which has been proven good for healing skin problem.Return to Bandung and visit Saung Angklung Udjo or the bamboo music instrument school for the Angklung performance, which is played by the children. In the late afternoon return to hotel for overnight.
DAY 6 : BANDUNG – NAGA VILLAGE – BATURADEN
Breakfast at hotel. Drive through beautiful scenery of terraced rice field to Baturaden, a mountain resort located on Mt. Slamet slope . En route stop at Naga village a unique community among the Sundanese with old traditions well preserved for centuries. Lunch will be served in restaurant, then proceed the drive and upon arrival check to hotel for overnight.
DAY 7 : BATURADEN – DIENG – WONOSOBO
Breakfast at hotel. Travel along the country side of Central Java heading to Dieng Plateau which situated 2000 m above sea level. Enjoy the scenic drive through the breathtaking mountain view of Mt. Sumbing and Mt. Sundoro. Upon arrival visit to the ruins of the oldest Hindu sanctuary in Java , then continue to the craters of the old volcanic activity , scattered around Kawah Sikindang. Return to Wonosobo check in hotel for overnight.
DAY 8 : WONOSOBO – BOROBUDUR – YOGYAKARTA
After breakfast at hotel, proceed drive to Brorobudur , the gigantic Buddhist temple in Indonesia and well known also as one of the world wonders built in 8th century by Sailandra dynasty. Continue to Yogyakarta check in hotel for overnight. The is free at own leisure.
DAY 9 : YOGYAKARTA CITY TOUR
Breakfast at hotel. A full day city tour by visiting Sultan’s Palace or Keraton where the Javanese culture and tradition strongly flourished, then continue to the colorful bird market and Tamansari water castle. Afterwards drive to Batik Factory and Kota Gede for its silverworks. Return to hotel for overnight.
DAY 10 : YOGYAKARTA – PRAMBANAN – SOLO
After breakfast at hotel depart for Solo , en route visit to the largest and most impressive Shiva Temple Complex named Prambanan or Candi Roro Jongrang. Continue Solo and visit Mangkunegara palace , the check in hotel for overnight.
DAY 11 : SOLO – SUKUH TEMPLE – TRETES
Breakfast at hotel. A long journey brings you leaving Central Java rich in cultural heritage crossing to East Java , land dominated by view of cultivation of many crops. En route visit to Sukuh Temple , then continue the drive heading to Tretes , check in hotel for overnight.
DAY 12 : TRETES – TOSARI
Breakfast at hotel, morning free then transfer to hotel in Tosari for overnight.
DAY 13 : TOSARI – BROMO KALI BARU
Wake up early morning, drive by 4wheel Jeep up to Mt Panajakan to see the sunrise. Enjoy unforgettable sunrise and breathtaking view of Mt.Bromo and its surroundings (subject to weather). Down drive through the vast sand sea to Mt. Bromo , then climbing up to the crater. The panoramic view of Mt. Bromo and its vicinity is marvelous (subject to the weather). Return to hotel , after breakfast proceed the drive to Kalibaru, a little town in East Java which famous for the coffee and cacao plantation. Check in hotel for overnight .
DAY 14 : KALIBARU PLANTATION TOUR
After breakfast start plantation tour with visit of cacao and rubber plantation then see the factory which has been used since long time ago for processing product . Return to hotel for overnight.
DAY 15 : KALI BARU – BALI
After breakfast drive to Ketapang harbor crossing Bali by ferry. Continue to Kuta check in hotel for overnight.
